Reboot All The Things!
A lot of issues are easily resolved by simply restarting your iOS device, computer and router. If Screens starts to have connection issues for no apparent reason and nothing has changed, try this first.
I have upgraded to Yosemite recently and I'm experiencing connectivity issues.
Apple tries very hard to migrate your settings correctly from one OS X version to another but sometimes things can go wrong. Please refer to this blog post to learn how to fix the issues: http://blog.edovia.com/2014/10/26/mavericks-yosemite-connection-issues/.
What does error X means?

Can Screens use a secure connection to my computer?
Of course, but you'll need to enable Remote Login in System Preferences on your Mac or install freeSSHd on your Windows PC beforehand. Then, simply turn on Secure Connection in Screens. You'll find more details in the User Guide.
Can Screens can receive sound from my computer?
Screens cannot receive sound from your computer as it is not supported by the VNC protocol, which the app relies on.
Can Screens connect to my computer via 3G or LTE? or when I'm away?
Absolutely! If you have a Mac running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard or later, you can install our free (and optional) Screens Connect helper, which allows your computer to be reachable from everywhere.
Can Screens wake a sleeping Mac?
Screens support OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard's Wake On Demand feature. If your Mac is running Snow Leopard and you have a compatible router, Screens should be able to wake your computer while you're away.
For more information about it, please read About Wake On Demand on Apple's website.
I get a blank screen when I connect to my Mac running OS X 10.4 Tiger
You need to set the color depth to millions in your screen settings as Screen Sharing does not support lower color depths on OS X 10.4.
Screens disconnects on login or when I type on RealVNC server
To avoid being disconnected, turn off "Show local cursor" under More Settings in the affected screen settings.
